Republicans More Confident Than Ever about New Attempt to Repeal and Replace Obamacare

WASHINGTON D.C. - Republicans plan to officially get rid of Obamacare is closer to being accomplished than the first time around. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said “We’re going to get the votes next week”. The strong Democratic side is what is coming between the Republicans and their dream of finally getting rid of the Affordable Care Act.

Marine GOP Sen. Susan Collins is very unlikely to support the Republicans to repeal Obamacare, but is still waiting for more information Congressional Budget Office before finalizing her opinion. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul along with Arizona Sen. John McCain have made clear they will not support the bill.

Getting the necessary votes from the senate is not likely. The Republicans hold a 52-48 majority in the senate. All of the Dems in the senate are planning to vote against the repeal of Obama Care, so if just three Republicans vote against it, the legislation will fail.

Continuing to provide healthcare for citizens of the United States is what Democrats are pushing for. Not one Dem is going to vote for the repeal which gets the vote for keeping Obamacare even closer to 51.

The September 30 deadline to repeal Obama Care is what the senate GOP is soon facing. Saturday will be the day where Obamacare is either laid to rest by a miraculous and unlikely win by the Republicans, or it is going to remain the main provider of healthcare for the people of the United States in favor of the Democrats.
